Above: London temperature affects the activity

The temperature during summer barely rises above 33º Celsius (91.4º F). The highest temperature that ever hit London was 38.1º Celsius (100.6º F) and this was during the European Heat Wave back in 2003. There are no heavy snowfalls in this city. During winter time, snow falls seldom and would not even amount to an inch high.

London weather can be very drastic at times. To help you visitors to adjust, here are a few tips on what to wear and what to bring during your stay in the city.

An Umbrella

Always bring an umbrella. One day the sun may seem to shine bright, and you might think it would be the perfect time to have a walk around – when suddenly the rain starts to pour in. it’s that drastic. So as much as possible, please take a foldable umbrella with you. It pays to be ready.

Comfortable Shoes

A lot of Londoners like to walk around. if you’re a tourist, you would be more likely to walk around, too and so it would be advisable to get your feet some comfortable shoes. or better yet, bring sandals. This will help you enjoy the sites more. We promise!

Bring a Jacket

The type of jacket to bring would depend on the months you’ll be in London. For the summer months of June to August, it is advisable to carry with you a light jacket since the temperature rate would range from 17 to 21 degrees Celsius. For the months of March, mid June, September and early November, with a temperature of 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, it would be reasonable to carry a rather warmer jacket. In mid November to mid March which would be winter, it is highly recommended to wear a sweater and warm coat and scarf since the temperature would range from 4 to 12 degrees Celsius.
