Flying over to London from Dublin on a regular basis, I used to have time to burn when waiting to get my plane back, there are certain places I visited to put some cheer on my face,

Above: Big Ben picture

  • Big Ben, this is that big clock, I dont know the history of it, but its a big clock, that towers over Westminster , which is where Englands parlaiment is located, I am not a historian, so the history part is a bit of a blur, will do some research for the Blog though. The underground stop is Westminster.

Above: View from London Wheel

  • London wheel, within walking distance from Big Ben, The London eye is viewable, around a 15 minute walk, lots of tacky gifts on the way, but its an impressive walk where you can see the grandeur of London, while crossing the river, never went on the London eye, cause its expensive for me 10 pound sterling and would rather get 4 pints of good old english beer.
  • Leicester square, chilling out, some good deals in the pubs, and of course the cheap restuarents in the vicinity, near China town too, yes its pretty cool place, with cheap food, this isnt the United Kingdoms biggest China town though I believe this is in Manchester,

Any views or places you recommend, please give some advice…..
