generator hyde park hostel5 Budget Hotels Around Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the biggest Park in London and naturally, one of the most popular. Other than the fact that it is an exceptionally beautiful park, it also has a lot of history behind it. If you travel to London, never forget to visit Hyde Park and the adjacent Kensington Gardens. There are several plays to stay in around the park and for your convenience, here are some of the cheapest ones.

1)    Central Hotel- I guess it doesn’t get much cheaper than this. At 11 pounds per night, it is by far the most affordable. A favorite among back packers, Central Hotel is located right where the action is and isn’t far off from other noteworthy places.
2)    The Generator London (picture left)- With 17 pounds per night, you get to stay in a snazzy and ultra hip hostel. Located at Russell Square, this hostel is an ideal place for back packers to meet and have fun at the same time. There are live bands and even free movies so for such a price, it is definitely a steal.
3)    Piccadilly Backpackers Hotel- Another place that offers a definite bargain is the Piccadilly Backpackers Hotel. Also at 17 pounds, this very friendly and accommodating place is a great way to spend your down time and your up time in. The Moroccan –themed common room is one of its best features and also boasts of a cool bar.
4)    Collin House - with 22 pounds you could be staying at the chic Belgravia area. It is a good place to say in as it is near transport areas that could take you anywhere in London.
5)    Glendale Park Hotel London – This elegant hotel is located just 2 kms away from Hyde Park. It would only cost you 25 pounds a night but the with the way the hotel looks, it should cost a lot more. Smokers beware however. All rooms are non-smoking and it’s probably a good thing since the hotel has no lift.
